2023 Reunion

The 2023 reunion took place in Trail B.C. the weekend of August 4th and 5th.

Approximately 125 people attended the bocce tournament, wine and cheese, golf tournament and dinner and dance. Thank you to Luciano Dalla Lana, Dennis Bedin and Patti Mauro who planned and organized this amazing event.

The bocce tournament offered a fun time for everyone to get reacquainted with their Dalla Lana relatives. Sausages and refreshments were served. The event was held at the Trail Bocce Facility.

This was followed by wine and cheese. The printed family tree was on display and just showed how large this family has become.

The golf tournament, held at Champion Lakes Golf Course, was a fun texas-scramble tournament where foursomes were mixed so they could visit or meet relatives they hadn’t seen in a long time.

Saturday night was a delicious Italian dinner, put on by the Riverbelle followed by a dance with a live band. The food and entertainment were excellent. Anne Buccini and Andrea Daly auditioned many members of the Dalla Lana family to help reenact the early years of Giovanni and Giuseppina’s life and their child bearing years. The skit was very funny but it got the point across about how lucky we are to be born into this family. Along with the skit was a family sing-a-long.

There was also a memorial video prepared by Luciano that displayed photos of those relatives we have lost.

Thank you to everyone who helped put this reunion together. There is a whisper that the next reunion may be in Italy. Tiffany Lazzarotto and Lucia Merlo are looking into this for us. Stay tuned…
